By using TasteSync — this website or the TasteSync app — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use TasteSync. Contact: hello@tastesync.in.

What TasteSync is

TasteSync is a social platform that connects people through shared taste in music, books, anime, games, shows and films. It is currently in early access; features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country).
• Sign-in is through Google. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Connect only platform accounts that belong to you.

Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate, impersonation, spam, or unlawful content or behaviour.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or automated access to the service.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

Your data

Taste data you import is displayed to other signed-in users as part of matching — that is the product. Details are in the Privacy Policy. You can request deletion at any time.

Third-party platforms

Spotify, Goodreads, AniList, MyAnimeList, Steam, GG, Trakt, Letterboxd, Serializd and Apple Music are trademarks of their respective owners. TasteSync is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and imports only data those services make available for your account. Their terms govern your use of their services.

Disclaimers

TasteSync is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for interactions between users; use the same judgment you would anywhere online. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently zero).

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. We will update the date above when we do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
